Our expert interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals specializes in helping patients in California and Nevada find lasting relief from treatment-resistant mental health disorders. We use a unique combination of cutting-edge alternative treatments and traditional approaches to find the most effective treatment protocol for each and every individual.

Jacob Moussai, MD

Psychiatrist

Dr. Moussai is a board-certified psychiatrist who completed his psychiatric training at Yale School of Medicine. He has been providing direct patient care for more than two decades specializing in adults with a variety of psychiatric conditions.  He is a former Associate Clinical Professor at UCLA School of Medicine and a former Assistant Clinical Professor at USC School of Medicine and has provided direct supervision to trainees over the years.  He was a Medical Director at the VA providing care to our returning combat Veterans and later worked in the commercial healthcare sector as the Regional Medical Director overseeing substance abuse and eating disorder treatment.  He has knowledge and expertise in providing care using various treatment modalities including medications, psychotherapy, and other approaches such as TMS and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy

Judith Leitich, PMHNP

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Las Vegas Medical Director

Judith is a board certified Nurse Practitioner with 20 years experience as a registered nurse working at USC, Stanford and Kaiser. She is passionate about patient care and overall wellness with a focus on comprehensive mental health management. Judith strives to provide compassionate high quality patient first care and mental health services across lifespan.

Stephanie Stewart, MD

Psychiatrist

Dr. Stephanie Michael Stewart is a holistic psychiatrist at Bespoke Treatment, known for her confidence in each person’s inner healing intelligence. She expertly combines traditional psychiatric treatments with holistic approaches, including yoga, meditation, and nutrition, primarily focusing on depression, anxiety, and trauma. Her approach is deeply rooted in her experience as both a leader and developer of a wellness center, where she integrated evidence-based psychiatric methods with complementary therapies.

Her practice is characterized by a commitment to treating a broad spectrum of patients, with a particular emphasis on racial trauma, women’s health, and diverse gender and sexual expressions. Dr. Stewart’s educational background includes training at Spelman College, Morehouse School of Medicine, and Harvard Medical School, followed by a psychiatric residency at Cedars-Sinai. She is a trailblazer in psychedelic medicine, having participated in the first MAPS training program for MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD in 2016, and is furthering her expertise through a Certificate in Psychedelic Therapy and Research at CIIS.

Melanie Jimenez, PMHNP

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Melanie is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with seven years of nursing experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, San Marcos, and worked as a Registered Nurse at Huntington Hospital and UCLA. Her commitment to psychiatric medicine grew from personal experiences and recognizing the unmet needs in mental health.

To broaden her impact, Melanie obtained a Master’s degree in Nursing from Maryville University. She has experience in treating patients with treatment-resistant mental health conditions, including the use of innovative therapies like ketamine infusion. Melanie is passionate about destigmatizing mood disorders and advocates for alternative treatments like ketamine and psychedelic medicine. She finds great fulfillment in working closely with patients, helping them take control of their mental health and confidently navigate their treatment journey.

Jenae Stainer, LCSW

Clinical Supervisor

Jenae was initially drawn to the social work profession because she found herself aligned with its values of service, self-determination, dignity, and social justice. She received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Alabama in 2012. She is a licensed clinical social worker with 10 years of experience in community-based mental health with adults, youth, families, and the reentry population. She has experience in treating complex trauma, substance abuse, depression and anxiety, and has received training in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. Jenae uses a nonjudgmental, holistic and eclectic approach grounded in harm reduction and client empowerment. 

Gil Spielberg, PhD

Clinical Supervisor

After earning his doctorate in psychology, Gil completed his individual psychoanalytic training at the Institute for Psychoanalytic Study of Subjectivity (IPSS) in New York and his group analytic studies at the Center for Group Studies also in New York. Utilizing the experience of studying various psychoanalytic points of view (relational analysis, self-psychology and modern analysis) Gil is especially interested in exploring the interaction of individual and group development using both interpretive and non-interpretive interventions. Gil is a Fellow of the American Group Psychotherapy Association, a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology and a Certified Group Psychotherapist. Currently he serves on the faculty of the Contemporary Institute of Psychoanalysis (Los Angeles) New York as a training and supervising analyst and Center for Group Studies in New York.

Kathleen San Filippo, LMFT

Therapist

Kathleen is a licensed MFT and certified as a Clinical Trauma Specialist. She has spent the last 20+ years working in a variety of capacities serving the mental health community through private practice, residential treatment facilities, sober living facilities, non-profit organizations, schools and colleges, and outreach opportunities. Kathleen has extensive experience with both youth and adults, with particular specialties in anxiety, stress, trauma, depression, and addiction. She is often told that she is easy to talk to, and yet still straight forward and challenging in a way that promotes progress. She has developed a reputation for finding success with clients who have failed to thrive in the traditional “office therapy” environment.

Daniela Attia, ACSW

Therapist

Daniela is an associate clinical social worker who received her master’s degree from the University of Southern California. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of California, Los Angeles. Daniela has experience working in community-based mental health settings, treating adults with complex trauma and co-occurring disorders. She has received clinical training in modalities such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), suicide, and crisis intervention and utilizes a trauma-informed approach with all clients.

Tamar Olmedo, MA, AMFT

Therapist

Tamar is a skilled California-Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology. Her therapeutic approach is a harmonious blend of experience, insight, mindfulness, and compassion. Tamar specializes in addressing a variety of emotional and behavioral issues, including depression, anxiety, postpartum depression, trauma, relationship challenges, substance abuse, and grief. Her expertise encompasses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method for couples, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and more.

Tamar believes in the potential for healing and growth in every individual she works with. She creates a safe, non-judgmental space, fostering self-awareness and empowerment in her clients. Her approach is person-centered and holistic, focusing on the whole person to facilitate meaningful and healthy changes. Tamar offers therapy in both Spanish and English, ensuring a comprehensive and inclusive therapeutic experience.

Angelica Banuelos Vera, AMFT

Therapist

Angelica Banuelos Vera is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Psychology. In her therapeutic approach, she incorporates strength-based and person-centered practices. Her experience spans Residential Care Facilities, Community-Based Mental Health Settings, and Private Practice Settings. Angelica believes it’s never too late to bring positive changes to one’s life and that there is always room for improvement. Her goal is to support her clients in identifying negative thought cycles that lead to undesired behaviors, managing negative thoughts and feelings, replacing unhealthy coping mechanisms with positive ones, managing stress, engaging in behavioral activation, and helping them find their purpose that aligns with their values.

Danielle Sarno, AMFT

Therapist

Danielle is an associate therapist who earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is dedicated to working with adults and young people with complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues and is passionate about guiding individuals through trauma processing to foster a happier and more peaceful life. Her experiences have provided her the ability to understand life’s challenges and she is always there to listen, validate, and provide support in a non-judgmental setting. Danielle enjoys working with people of all ages, families, and couples and specializes in addressing various issues utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and The Gottman Method for Couples, and practices a person-centered approach to therapy.

Jesika Bishop

Health Coach & Case Manager

Jesika—also known as Jess—is a board-certified Health and Wellness Coach. She is driven by a profound understanding of the interconnectedness between lifestyle factors (including environment) and mental well-being. Jesika started with Bespoke Treatment in 2021 and brings a wealth of experience to her role. She has worked in direct patient care since 2016, including her time at Bespoke. 

Jess’s inspiration for becoming a coach was rooted in her path to healing, her love of learning, and her unwavering commitment to supporting others in their process. Jesika’s approach incorporates insights from behavior change theory, functional and ancestral health principles, psychedelic integration tools, mindfulness techniques, and effective communication methods – such as nonviolent communication. For Jess, the greatest fulfillment lies in being part of a team that recognizes the critical importance of implementing a holistic treatment model in mental health care.

Meg Latt, OT

Occupational Therapist

Meg Latt is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) based in the San Francisco Bay Area with over six years of experience in acute inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and inpatient medical-surgical care. Meg is a compassionate and accomplished OT, blending her expertise with a genuine desire to improve the lives of those she serves. Meg takes a holistic approach and demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development. Meg completed her Masters of Occupational Therapy at San Jose State University in 2016. She completed her MBSR in 2015 and her Yoga Teacher Training (200 hours) in 2019. Meg uses mindfulness and movement practices in her group and individual sessions with patients. Meg completed advanced continuing education in Sensory Modulation for Self Regulation, ACT, DBT, and CBT-P. She has presented on Sensory Modulation for the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). She is looking forward to giving a short course in 2024 on creating a mentorship program for occupational therapists hospital-wide to support patients experiencing mental health challenges in the hospital. 

Nicholas Baez

TMS Technician & Case Manager

Nicholas graduated from Colorado State University after obtaining his Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in chemistry. He moved to California shortly after, and intends to pursue a future career as a Physician Assistant. He has past experience working with ketamine in a clinical setting, which quickly ignited his passion for mental health treatments outside of standard medication regimens. Nicholas is dedicated to understanding and supporting patients in order to create a welcoming and professional space for treatment.

Tencie Walker

Case Manager

Tencie is a Case Manager whose passion in life has always been to help those in need. Tencie holds a Bachelor’s in Health Care Administration and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Human Services. Tencie has over 17 years of experience in Healthcare and has been in many roles and settings over the years. 

Beverly Pagano

Patient Care Coordinator

Beverly is a health coach and wellness professional with a passion for creating a thriving wellness environment to promote wellbeing. With over 22 years experience, she is well versed in coaching one on one and fostering a team of medical and holistic professionals. Throughout her career, she has been successful in creating a positive, inclusive and productive culture where all team members work towards a common goal to create an unparalleled customer experience.

Kyla Davidson

Intake Coordinator

Kyla began her professional journey in the mental health and healthcare industry in 2016. She has worked one-on-one with those struggling with mental health diagnoses including substance abuse, eating disorders, and dual diagnosis. Over the years, she has collectively gained experience in many roles. She has excelled in those areas, but she has created a fulfilling career in admissions, administration, and management: a career that brings Kyla joy daily. Being the first line of connection, she has been honored to aid many. Kyla aims to support those who are willing to transform their lives. 

Amal Ahmed

Patient Care Coordinator

Amal is a Patient Care Coordinator who has always had the desire to help others and has dedicated her career goals to align with this. Currently, she is working towards completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Women’s and Gender Studies with Psychology concentration at Sonoma State University. Previously, Amal has worked in the nonprofit sector working with underprivileged marginalized communities as a case manager. She is passionate about helping people work towards their goals and being a supportive person throughout the process. 

Amina Hertzog

Intake Coordinator

Amina is an intake coordinator with a deep passion for helping people and their mental well-being. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and is looking into furthering her education by exploring the new realm of psychedelic medicine and neuromodulation. She hopes to contribute to the current naturalistic movement in healthcare that is growing towards assisting our mind and body in its ability to heal itself, rather than masking the symptoms of pain. Using her knowledge and care, Amina is excited to be working with the team to help change the lives of our patients. 

Milkshake

Good Boy

Milkshake is a hypoallergenic canine from Canada who has captivated hearts across the globe. Recognized for his exceptional qualities, he proudly won the “Best Puppy” title when he was 6 months old. Milkshake has a unique fascination with circles and often delights those around him with his playful spins and twirls. His affectionate nature extends to both people and animals, making him a beloved companion to all who meet him. Beyond his playful exterior, Milkshake provides a therapeutic presence and brings comfort and joy to everyone around him. Milkshake’s gentle demeanor and loving spirit have made him an integral part of Bespoke Treatment, where he continues to spread happiness and warmth. If he likes you, he may just sit on your foot. Milkshake is always available by request at the Los Angeles and Santa Monica offices.

Nima Fahimian, MD

Chief Medical Officer, Medical Director, Psychiatrist

Dr. Nima A. Fahimian, the Chief Medical Officer at Bespoke Treatment, brings over two decades of expertise in psychiatry and integrative medicine. A graduate of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, with dual bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Biochemistry from UCLA, he completed his Psychiatry Residency at UCLA’s Semel Institute, serving as Chief Resident in Adult Inpatient Psychiatry. Triple board-certified in Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, and Integrative and Holistic Medicine, Dr. Fahimian has held significant academic roles, including Associate Professor of Psychiatry at UC Irvine and UC Riverside. His clinical leadership includes positions as Medical Director at Cedars-Sinai and Chief Psychiatrist at various VA medical centers, where he pioneered innovative treatment programs for Veterans. At Bespoke Treatment, Dr. Fahimian leverages his extensive experience to offer tailored, evidence-based treatments, embodying the clinic’s mission to provide compassionate, individualized care. His dedication to advancing mental health care is reflected in his ongoing research, teaching, and numerous accolades for excellence in medical education. Dr. Fahimian’s holistic approach and deep empathy make him a trusted and respected figure in the field of mental health. With a head for research and a heart for clinical care, Dr. Fahimian ensures that his patients are treated with the most effective, up-to-date, and safest treatments available.

Gavin Dawson, PA-C

Director of Clinical and Medical Operations

Gavin Dawson is a board-certified Physician Assistant, founder of the medical education company Global Emergency Medics, a Lead Instructor of wilderness medicine courses, and a dedicated researcher to the ever-expanding world of psychedelic medicine. After double majoring with honors at the University of Colorado in Neuroscience and Integrative Physiology plus a minor in Philosophy, he went on to complete his graduate studies at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Gavin’s ability to create an environment of trust and support sets him apart in the world of medicine. Gavin is a true team player who thrives working in collaboration with his patients, always remaining focused on empowering his patients to take charge of their health and find vitality.

Danielle Bolduc, LMFT

Director of Operations

Danielle holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Beginning her career as a therapist specializing in eating disorder treatment at the PHP/IOP levels of care, she quickly became immersed in the complexities of mental health. Driven by a desire to enact broader change, Danielle transitioned into leadership as the Clinical Director, where she adeptly managed both in-person and virtual teams within the eating disorder field. Recognizing the interconnectedness of eating disorders and broader mental health issues, she pivoted to support the general mental health population as the Director of Clinical Operations for a large virtual IOP program. Under her guidance, the program expanded its reach both within and beyond California. Passionate about accessible high-quality care, Danielle remains dedicated to fostering the ongoing excellence of Bespoke Treatment, ensuring that individuals receive the support they need to thrive.

Ben Spielberg, M.S., PhD Candidate

Founding Neuroscientist & Chief Executive Officer

After working in behavioral health for a decade and finding mental healthcare to be splintered and inaccessible for many patients, Ben founded Bespoke Treatment in 2019. Ben attended graduate school at Columbia University and received a Master of Science degree in Neuroscience and Education. During graduate school, Ben developed a specialty in clinical neuromodulation and neuroimaging, where he used brain scans to predict off-label uses for TMS, neurofeedback, and Ketamine. Ben’s research has been published in prestigious journals such as Brain Stimulation and ACR Open Rheumatology, and presented at The Clinical TMS Society, The International Neuropsychological Society, and the NYC Neuromodulation Conference. As a Cognitive Neuroscience Ph.D. candidate, Ben is currently researching ways to continue to personalize and optimize brain stimulation and medical psychedelic use.  Ben serves as the Psychedelic Medicine Association’s Chapter Head of the Neurology Special Interest Group and has been honored as a 2023 Future Leader Under 40 by Behavioral Health Business and a Top 10 CEO to watch out for by Entrepreneur.com. Ben prides himself in bringing together the special team of individuals that makes up Bespoke Treatment.
