Bespoke Treatment offers many different programs, services, and levels of care for our mental health patients. For individuals looking for a treatment that is more intensive than our IOP (intensive outpatient program), we offer a partial hospitalization program (PHP). Partial Hospitalization Program is a structured treatment program in which the patient typically attends for about 5 days per week, but with an additional level of support compared to our IOP. The program includes a combination of therapies and treatments tailored to you. The purpose of PHP is to provide continuous and consistent support in a safe environment, in order to promote a smooth and comfortable road to recovery and healing.

PHP is more intensive than our outpatient program, and less intensive than an inpatient program. Our partial hospitalization program is non-contiguous, meaning we will build it around your schedule. The program is effective for treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorders, and ADHD, among other conditions.

What treatments are offered in PHP?

Every clinic’s partial hospitalization program will include different services. Some programs are specifically designed for treating addiction, depression, or other conditions. At Bespoke Treatment, we tailor your treatment to your needs. The services and treatments that may be included in your PHP include:

  • Medication management (general psychiatry)
  • Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
  • Ketamine / Spravato
  • Biofeedback / neurofeedback
  • Group therapy
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
  • Action and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • EMDR Therapy
  • MBSR Therapy
  • Meditation / mindfulness

How long does PHP last?

PHP is designed to be short-term, meaning you attend the program until you experience relief or until you are ready for a lower level of care. While enrolled in PHP, we encourage patients to focus on achieving recovery goals rather than a specific length of treatment.

At Bespoke Treatment, every patient is assigned a case manager who will meet with you regularly and make sure that the program continues to fulfill your needs. This allows you to make adjustments to your program along the way and shorten or extend your program as needed. Depending on your needs, you may stay in PHP for multiple weeks to months. Additionally, you can choose to transition from the partial hospitalization program into the intensive outpatient program. This is useful for patients who want additional help transitioning back into independent life, or those who want to switch to a less intensive treatment.

What is the difference between partial and inpatient hospitalization?

Partial hospitalization bridges the gap between inpatient and outpatient programs by offering a structured program with treatments and services almost every day of the week, regular evaluations, and consistent support that fits your schedule. Patients continue to reside at home and can adjust the program to accommodate activities and events in their schedule. PHP is different from an inpatient program in that it offers less than 24 hours of daily care, does not include residential services, and allows patients to attend based on their schedule.

Do I need partial hospitalization (PHP)?

Deciding the right level of care can be difficult. If you think you need any type of care, you can make an appointment at Bespoke Treatment and our professionals will conduct a mental health evaluation and work with you to determine which treatment is right for you. The right treatment and level of care depends on your personal needs and your stage in the recovery and healing process. PHP is typically suitable for individuals who:

  • Are medically stable
  • Have an adequate level of support at home
  • Are not at risk of harming themself or others
  • Have difficulty functioning at work or school
  • Are motivated to participate in treatment
  • Are experiencing co-occurring mental health conditions

If you are transitioning out of an inpatient program, you don’t feel comfortable on your own throughout the day, or you’re looking for a more intensive and consistent form of care, a partial hospitalization program may be right for you. Before deciding on any treatment, consult a mental health professional and discuss all of your options.

Reviews

As someone who has struggled with depression for years, I was skeptical about trying alternative treatment options. However, the team at Bespoke Treatment made me feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire process. Not only did their TMS therapy provide significant relief for my depression symptoms, but I also had a positive experience with their ketamine therapy. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions and address any concerns I had.

I can't recommend this place enough. I had an incredible experience with the treatment I received here. From the administrative staff to the medical team, I really appreciated the outstanding care and attention I received and always felt listened to. There was never any sense of rushing or a "one size fits all" approach, which is sadly very much the norm elsewhere. I highly recommend coming here for the excellent quality of services, professionalism, and warmth that are so important when you're needing mental health treatment.

TMS was amazing for me . I loved my treatments , the doctors, the staff as well as the office itself. Its an amazing place to go for your wellbeing . Everyone is super nice, kind and extremely professional. The place is very easy to get to with available parking. Basically no stress. I felt very comfortable with my technician and all his knowledge about TMS . I also loved Dr. Fahimian . He is extremely educated and knowable in his field. His patience in taking his time to answer all my questions and concerns were highly appreciated.

I was severely depressed when starting treatment. I could not handle meds and had big hopes that TMS would work. It absolutely did wonders for lifting my depression. I have my life back. I have motivation to do things and energy to achieve goals. I really wasn’t sure if the TMS method would work, but it did and I am forever grateful. It even helped with my ruminating thoughts. I’m able to be in the moment and get back into doing things I enjoy. I highly recommend TMS to anyone who needs it.
