Jacob Moussai, MD is a distinguished board-certified psychiatrist with a deep commitment to mental health, providing compassionate and evidence-based care for over a decade. As a psychiatrist in Los Angeles and Bespoke Treatment’s Santa Monica office, he specializes in outpatient psychiatry, psychopharmacology, and psychotherapy, with a particular focus on ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety spectrum disorders. His career includes significant roles such as the West Region Behavioral Health Medical Director at Anthem Blue Cross/Elevance Health and a staff psychiatrist at USC Engemann Student Counseling Services.

Dr. Moussai’s extensive experience is complemented by his academic contributions as a former Assistant Clinical Professor at the Keck USC School of Medicine and the David Geffen UCLA School of Medicine. He has received multiple accolades, including a Certificate of Excellence from the VA for his outstanding work as an emergency room consultant. With a background that includes research in neuroimaging and innovative treatment modalities, Dr. Moussai remains dedicated to individualized patient care, ensuring each patient receives tailored, empathetic, and effective treatment.

Dr. Moussai joined the Bespoke Treatment team in 2023 and has multiple certifications in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) and has been trained in Prism neurofeedback for PTSD. He has been featured in the Los Angeles media multiple times over the years, presenting on issues ranging from the science of mood, anxiety, and motivation to coping with change in the age of COVID-19. In 2021, he was invited to speak with the Los Angeles Sparks regarding healthy habits and alternative treatments for depression.

Dr. Moussai completed medical school at the UC Davis School of Medicine and psychiatry residency at Yale University School of Medicine. We are thrilled to have him as a key member of our treatment team.
